Introduction
This is a summary of the approach we would propose for supporting the development of sales of the See-LEVEL product suite into the European and US markets.
Please note that this is put forward as a framework and discussion paper as we have not had the opportunity yet to investigate the goals, requirements or structure of the underlying business. However I hope this will generate enough interest to encourage you to move forward with us.
Whilst we do not work for no fee, we believe in sharing risk with our clients hence our fee structure is a fraction of traditional methods and we aim to make the bulk of our success based on the successful ongoing sales of your products.

having developed a comprehensive online business development platform which not only allows our clients to track and stay in control of activities we are collaborating on but also which enables us to target, access, communicate with and cultivate networks of potential prospects in the target regions.
having built networks of contacts at various levels to enable us to track down, identify and qualify potential leads and prospects. If we do not have the right contacts on our immediate international networks, we know where to find them. Networks which we anticipate that we would target for this project include, but are not limited to:
Superyacht suppliers.
Charter companies
Chandleries
Procurement companies.
Yacht manufacturers.
Large yacht and expedition yacht resellers (who seek to make aftersales and value added revenue).
having direct representation based in Australia and the UK to follow up prospects and opportunities. Whilst the bulk of our process and methodology is carried out online, personal contact is always needed to provide professional representation, follow up and closing on behalf of our clients.
Desired Outcomes
Unless the planning process alters this, our objective is to generate initial, repeat and sustainable sales for the See-LEVEL suite of products in Europe and in the USA.
Clearly, the company has had significant success to date so we would like to build on that success, adapting as appropriate to the target markets.
The desired outcome is not only to generate growing revenue but also to control and minimise cost of sale, so focusing on profit, not just revenue.
I note that as well as product sales, See-LEVEL also offers a rental model, which seems like a great idea. We will need to discuss how this option can best be implemented in Europe of the USA.
We operate interactively with our clients. I note that one of your Team Members, Alexander Maksymiw, is based in the UK. We will need to understand from you how you would like us to work with him as an option is to focus on working with and through him to build your own UK operation, if this is relevant.
Our Approach
The service we offer is a comprehensive business development resource for our clients and not a commission only sales service. To this end, it is important that we get to know and understand your goals and the elements which can (or already have) lead to success, as well as the risks that can lead to failure.
Our approach is iterative. We set up a roadmap with you for how to reasonably achieve the goals. This is then configured on our system and executed. You remain involved at every step of the process while we do the legwork.
On a regular basis we get together (normally on a Zoom meeting) to discuss and review progress and tune and adapt the roadmap accordingly. Then we continue to execute based on any revisions.
So the steps and outcomes are...
Building an initial roadmap with you to agree on how to get to where you want to go. This gives all parties a clear focus and guidelines for where we should direct our efforts and measure progress. This process should take no more than an hour on a Zoom meeting.
Help address key success factors that may be identified.
Identify and qualify business opportunities which may include:
sales opportunities.
distribution channels.
influencers and referrers.
partnership and joint ventures.
Work with you, as required, to convert the opportunities into good business.
Then, help to manage and add value to your relationships with customers, channels and partners to enhance ongoing customer loyalty leading to increased repeat business, reduced cost of sale and referrals to new clients.
Regularly carry out regular reviews to adapt the roadmap to optimise performance.
The project is tracked and managed on our YBM Connect platform, enabling you to collaborate with us remotely and irrespective of location. You can track progress and stay fully involved, leaving you in control.
Fee Proposal
The objective of our reward model is to allow you to achieve success in the European and the US markets at a fraction of the cost traditionally involved with investing in expansion. Whilst we do charge a minimum monthly fee to offset our establishment costs, our expectation is that our commissions will exceed the minimum monthly fee within a short period.
We would propose a regular progress review after an initial 3 month period to make sure the model is fair and reasonable and is working for both of us.
Pricing model:
Monthly minimum fee:Â We propose a minimum monthly fee of $500 per calendar month.
Success fee:Â Â A commission based on a percentage of revenue generated from sales introduced or closed by YBM Connect. We propose that this commission is 10% of income generated to you for sales made through any form of reseller channels and 20% of income generated for you from any sales made directly from you.
But, unlike traditional fee and commission models, our commission only kicks in for the amount earned above the monthly minimum fee. For example....
If our commission one month was $1,200 and our minimum monthly fee was $500, then the amount due to us would be $1,200 (as the commission exceeded the monthly fee).
However, if in the early days of building the business our commission was $400 and the agreed monthly fee was $500, you would pay us the minimum monthly fee,$500, as the commission did not exceed the minimum monthly fee.
Please note that these examples are put forward excluding any relevant sales tax issues. However, as this is an exported service we do not anticipate that GST would apply.
