We represent the owners' interests when it comes to anything to do with the care, use or administration of their boats, saving their time, cost and risk and freeing them up to focus on their day-to-day obligations and responsibilities.

YBM has evolved from a background of professional property management, so the way we offer comprehensive management to our Members is a little different to traditional boat managers.

• Everything is tracked and managed and you are fully involved, to the level you wish, with the management of your boat via YBM Connect.

• We take on the role of owner's representative to organise, facilitate and administer everything to do with the care and use of our Members' yachts.....so they don't have to!

• We do NOT employ our own trades people. as the owner's agent we feel it is our job to get best value for money and offer choice to our Members by providing options from independent trades people and other professionals (normally from our network of registered suppliers), as needed.

Depending on the needs of our Members, the range of services we offer can include...

• Ownership lifecyle management.

  • Planning what you want to achieve with your boat during the course of your ownership.

  • Helping find the right boat for you.

  • Organising berthing and all the things you need to do (and renew) as a boat owner, such as insurance etc.

  • Organising any training you may require to make sure you are safe and confident with your boat.

  • Providing centralised document and information storage.

  • Helping sell your boat when it is time to move on.

• Care and maintenance management including:

  • Planning and organising preventative and scheduled maintenance programs.

  • Sourcing and organising services, equipment and, basically, anything that our Members need for their boats.

  • Planning and organising compliance requirements.

  • Developing and coordinating your network of preferred and regular suppliers.

  • Putting together your operational checklists.

• Accounts support including...

  • budgeting

  • cashflow tracking

  • invoice storage.

  • reporting.

• Support for local or long range cruises including:

  • logistics organisation.

  • organising provisioning.

  • tracking the yachts location and condition using your installed remote monitoring system.

  • crew management and organisation.

  • bookings such as berthing, accommodation, restaurants, travel etc.

  • organisation of any repairs or maintenance required whilst away from home port.

    
    

• Owner's representative, facilitator or project manager for major projects such as builds and refits*.....

Pricing Guidelines:

• This Cruising Concierge suite of services is provided for a fixed monthly fee.

• The monthly fee is dependent on the size of the boat and what you want to do.

• Monthly fees start from $200 + GST per month.
